The rear would not be a problem if you bought the 1" axle install kit with the bearings and all from hd but you'd only get a 140 max tire on there. looks kinda goofy and yes i did have the back on there but wanted to go with a fatboy rear from a newer model so i could at least put a 180 on there nicely with the traditional fatboy front wheel but get it all polished up or pwder coated black. The front would work nicely with wide glide triples trees, no doubt. but hell i couldnt be bothered then. Now I am about to tear the fornt end apart to get things powder coated and am reconsidering it once again but this time am thinking about just buying the wide trees powder coating those and going for it all the way. well see soon though.

im going down the same path , i have the rear ready to go on and am going wider trees on the front , not sure if the fatbob trees would work or not
i used the tube outa the front rim to go 1" rear and a set of 1" bearings , same bearing except 3/4
