He said it needed to be widened 1" because it was not wide enough to fit onto the fender struts. Maybe the struts on the FB and WG come off at a different angle than other dynas.

Also, he said he would sell it for $20,000 once the fender was painted....we'll see...lol
Do you think he'll hook me up and widen my fender for me???? I have an extra Dyna (wrap around) fender out in the garage.

I can see this wont die....lol. Again, this is my friends bike and not mine.

Anway to answer some questions:

- It wont take the stock seat unless you drill a hole further back on the fender.

- New seat didnt really change the riding position..still pretty much in the same place as with stock 2-up seat.

- If you are serious about having him do the work on your fender...all I can do is ask him if hes interested in doing it.

Bike looks good,
Was the lowering kit a White Brothers? Also did the street bob fender struts fit ok or did you have to modify anything

Stagolee: I like the bob tail fender too. One reason I got a fat bob. But, I wish it had a little more flare, sorta like a softail.

Ashville: The lowering brackets are home made. I think he made em out of angle iron. The fender struts didnt match up so, he had to widen the rear fender. Thats why its so wide.

I think the the stock fat bob fender is the same as wide glide and is apparently wider than regular dyna fender.

From what I understand, the dealer told him "it should fit". But, i didnt. If anyone has done it without modding the fender I'd like to know how.
