The fender had to be widened. He split the stock Dyna wrap fender and split it down the middle, then welded in a strip of sheet metal. Thats one of the main reasons why the tail light is gone from the center of the fender. Just addeda HDrunning light/brake converter kit. Also, the struts are stock Dyna struts.
Anyway to get some more detailed info on this? How much did he widen the fender? Anything else he had to do to make it fit? Thanks.
The stock Fat Bob fender would look a lot better if was about 4-6" shorter. It reminds me of the flight deck of an aircraft carrier, especially with a solo seat!
brypink, nice job on the fender mod. It will look awesome after you get it painted.
Not my scoot...I'm definitely looking into doing it though.
I didnt like the Fat Bob bobtail at first, but I got use to it. Making your bike your own is part of the fun of owning it. I like the single seat. Otherwise should of bought a streetbob. I gues if your gonna go with a solo seat it prob would look better without the bobtail.
I think Fat Bob with solo seat and bob tail fender would look cool. Thinking about putting on a solo seat myself. Would look sorta like the new Crossbones Softail. I saw one in person today and its got some character.
