I like the idea but---- I don't really like the bike . I sat on one at my local dealer and the seat with the two inch springs is two high and hard I don't like the running boards or the 16/17 inch front tire I would also like to see a lot more rake in the front end something like the rocker rack not a bad start but leaves a lot for me to want one.. price was 18+
Saw and sat on one today. Not my type of ride, but unique and nice. I like that HD is diversifying with these bikes, FatBob, CrossBones, Rocker, Street Bob, etc.
Tough to keep up with the customs but they are trying.
Have only seen pics. I like it. Looks very cool. I would really want to ride one, before buying though. I was less than excited about the Heritage Softail when I rode one this summer.I wonder if it wouldride like that....
I've got over 10,000 miles on mine and I love the thing. The ride is good, the handling is good. I do have issues with the tires on the thing though. They don't last for nothing. Replaced the rear at 6,700 milrs. I would have rather of had the springer nostalgia. But that's nothing a set of fenders won't fix. I'll just wait for the aftermarket to catch up for the rear fender. I tried a badlander seat for a couple of hundred miles one day and removed it as soon as I got home from that ride. I'm still waiting for the Fuelmaxx unit for the 08s. Overall a good ride. it handles much better than the springers with the narrow front tire. I service this bike myself and nothing has been overly difficult. The rear wheel was a little hard to get off due to clearence issues between the 200mm tire and the caliper mount. But I managed just fine. It simply wouldn't have been an issue with a standard rear end.
I saw the Crossbones at my dealer. Love it! I didn't sit on it or anything but it looks sweet. I would love to ride one and see how it handles. Not sure I would like the seat.
Love the look, but sat on one at the dealer and didn't like the feel at all. Also didn't like the rear fender, the whole bike looks old school except for the fender.

I've seen one in person and I like it, but it needs a 21" front wheel - the front wheel looks too fat. Then again, I'm partial to skinny front wheels...
