I finally told my wife about the new bike yesterday. It wasn't nearly as painful as I expected. She wasn't so pissed about me trading as she was about not trusting her to talk to her about it before I did it. All's well that ends well. Now I just have to make the payments.......

 

the bike looks great, but I am waiting for one of those guys to put a fatboy fender on one, then we will talk about trade in!

 

I saw one Sunday @ Denver swap meet. Looks killer in person, seat isn't to bad. The pipes, the pipes need to changed out.

dislike: that plastic pan underneath the seat along the frame.... very cheap....should have at least been aluminum

Yep I am still in disbelieve that they didnt put the raparound fender on the back, WTF. But its still a pimp ride, when I re-do my tins, the Fatboy rear fender is goin on !!
Oh BTW get those blinkers off the bars ASAP !! The relocation kit is cheap and it cleans up the bars nicely [sm=bling.gif]

 

The dealership threw in a Brawler solo seat and pilion. I had it puton yesterday after they installed the Lo-Jack and it made a world of difference. Not only did it lower the seat height by at least 3", it also completely changed the look of the bike. Now the mini-apes don't feel so mini. I didn't have my phone with me yesterday, but I will try to take some pictures of it this afternoon. It really sucks that it is going to be 80 degrees today and I am stuck in this friggin' office!!!

 

Went to my local dealer today to pic up the last few pieces for my winter mods and low and behold there was the Cross Bones calling me... The salesman noticed right away that I was slobering.. He twisted my arm until I agreed to sit on the bike and gave me the rundown on pricing. I must admit I was having some serious thoughts about trading in the Streetbob, until I stopped at the Indy shop where I am having alot of the work done.. I will post pics in the next week , still waiting on some powdercoat. I must say I am very impressed with the Cross Bones out of the shoot.. couple of mods and it would be fantastic.
