Man, muddy, that looks awesome and love the idea of lower bars - clip-ons would look cool, but maybe not very comfortable!

The front rim is BlackBike Wheels in Northridge, CA. It was $782? Complete. But after pricing out a WG hub (went to WG trees as I mentioned) with 21" rim, powdercoating it, buying stainless steel spokes, having it built and buying a tire it was like $650-700 anyways (if I bought new). Besides this is 3.5" wide with a 120 instead of 2.15" wide with a 90. The rear is OEM 17" thats coming off for powdercoat, I just bought Buchanan SS spokes for the rear (same as front) and putting a Metz 170/60 in rear. Already bought the rear tire and it is at least as wide as OEM 160, I dont want a wider tire. As far as bars I have my old black Nightster (dirt track) bars in the shed, going to play around a little to see what I like. As far a fender I bought a FatBob fender painted but the mounting holes are different, not sure what im going to do but I want a fender, dont need crap flying all over the place. I want to stay away from the tank lift to keep the profile low.

Looks good, Ape. I like the way the front end is coming together. I agree that if you don't want to ride hunched over, the apes are the way to go.

Is'nt it against the law, or a sin or something, to paint a wide glide front end? j/k

Bikes looking good!

Cheers... Ben.
