Default High mile super glide
Was thinking about picking up a pretty nice looking 06 super glide, has 30k miles on it already. What are yalls opinion on new bikes with high miles? Anyone have any bad/good experiences with them? I am wondering if putting about 6 years worth of riding into 2 will hurt the bike.

I wouldn't think twice about the mileage if I had it looked at by a good wrench.

Todays bikes go forever without majir engine work if treated right, not abused, and regular maintenance.

And, in todays world, that's two years (+/-) and that really is only 15k a year.

If the price was right.........I'd do it, regardless of the miles.

does the seller have the service records. if all the service was don you should have no problem. just means he rode it so probably keet it up pretty good

30K miles on an 06 tells me it must not have been broken, at least not for long.

Would check for receipts/service records as said. What's he asking for it??

That doesn't sound like a great bargain to me with brandnew '08s starting at just $2000 or somore (sticker), and that's with the 96 ci, 0 miles, and warranty. Even if the '06 only had 2500 miles I'd have to really love it to take it over the new one, but that's me.

I would definitly talk price with them. have to knock off a few grand before I would consider that a good price.
