Hello, Is anyone using a injector cleaner like stp on there bobs as a
routine maintance?
I have read somewhere that the higher octane like 92 and up
have additives allready added to help clean the injectors.
Is there any truth in this?
I'am no having any problems yet with my injectors, but some guys
at work must be getting some bad gas,and had to get there
injectors cleaned out in there cars,but they are not using the same
octane as I use in my bike, this is what making me wonder.

i asked the same question when i took it in for my first service. they said they didnt use it or hear of anyone using it but had no opinion weather it would do any good or not. i have not used any. i know the better gas has additives in them to keep them clean hope this helps

i also agree that the major (BP, SHELL, CHEVRON, etc.) will have the detergents in the gas, if used improperly some injector cleaners will actually cause more harm than good.
