You will be much happier wih the pullbacks. I was looking at doing this on my 06FXDI but I went the route of changing out everything with a Sportster Custom gauge mount with integrated risers because I did not like the way the speedo was sitting (got the whole set up on Ebay). If you just want to get the risers, you can get an adapter for Accutronix that will mount the gauges lower on the risers to keep it from having to stand straight up in the stock position. Either way you go your wires, cables and brake line will be stretched to their max so any longer and you will have to change everything out. I found after the change my riding position was much more comfortable.

ORIGINAL: PB565

I'm considering putting pullback risers with the stock mini buckhorn handlebars on my 07 Super Glide. Will this look weird as far as the side profile symmetry? Thanks in advance.

Look at the riser on the FXDLI. I like the angle because it fits me perfectly.

I don't like the looks of pull back risers but that's just me, take a look at a lowrider if you're ok with the way that looks then get em.

"When I intalled 4" pull backs on my SG (FXD) it moved the bars right to where I wanted them. Problem is... it changed the angle of the Speedoto an almost straight up and down profile." I tried that. I thought it looked like crap. I went to 9 inch mini apes. They were very comfortable. Now I have 4 1/2" pull back risers with Dyna Lowrider bars and I found a flat speedometer mount from Custom Chrome or something but I had to drill and mill to get the lites in it because they don't make a flat with lites. Got it on ebay. Used a step drill bit and drilled 8 holes and then connected them with a grinder. Or you could take it to a machine shop and have it modified. Pictures if I think of it...
