Just replaced my stock mufflers with the Rush Slip-ons with 2.0 Baffle. They sound fricken GREAT! Now I am worried the good ole boys in blue are going to be giving me tickets right and left for being to loud. Even after listening to all the muffler sounds on YouTube there is NO way you can really understand just what they sound like live and in person.
Anybody else with the afterstock mufflers have any problems with the local constabulary?

I had one pull me over, he said that my short shots were not approved. I came back with "they meet EPA standards" to which he replied "not for sound they don't". He let me off with a warning and I promised not to gun it at the lights.

I've been running VH Big Shots (with Big City Thunder Monster baffles) for 4 1/2 years now and no problems with the cops. I can cruise it somewhatquieter when needed, so just be careful where/when you decide to get on it!

I haven't been pulled over for it myself (Thunderheaders) and neither have my brothers (drilled out VROD and Short shots) so I don't think there's many that do pull over for it. Just don't do anything stupid in front of them and learn how to play with the clutch to keep your sound down if you ride by one.
