I went to the dealer and they tried to sell me chrome buttons. I asked, I thought they sold inserts for turn signal relocates. Azzholes they would have had to order them anyway.

Just fixed this I took a little field trip to the local Menards and bought a package of T nuts (they are used in wookworking hammered into a whole and have little teeth that embed into the wood to hold tight and a couple stove bolts with tapered flat head. First I took the little teeth on the T nuts and flattened them out the ones I bought fit into the old hole on the fender like a glove. This brings the threads into the struts and once I cut the stove bolts down I had a perfect flush fit on the inside of the fender so no chance of hitting the tire. Then covered the oval indentation with a stick on medallion from HD. I think it looks great if you want pm me and I will send you a pic. Here is a link to the medallions I used. http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US
