06 and newer front ends

love the 49mm front end on dynas. Does anyone know if the 49mm front end would fit on a 02 sg? would the stem be a differnt size and would the axle fit thru the stock front wheel?

06 Dyna has a 1" axle. 02 has a 3/4". Now if you take the 02 hub and lace an 06 rim on it it might do the trick.

Similarly, I have an 02 FXD SG. I am looking at putting the 06/07 WG trees with 06/07 FXD/FXDL tubes (to accommodate for length and rake of WG). Does anyone know if this will work and result in a "stock" stance? It is my understanding that the 06/07 trees (WG/FXD) have a built in 2 degree rake, which will result in a 31 degree rake on my 2002 FXD. Very similar to the stock 32 degree rake of the 02 FXDL.

Also, will my fork lock work?

If anyone has pictures of such a conversion, that would be awesome.
