I'm not too keen on how the down tubes curve back but I guess that's the only way to run the stock tank without having a huge gap.

I've seen that kind of down tube mod before. It not only preserves the backbone length but doesn'tmess with the engine fit at the front. It is a simple cut the tubes at the neck, bend it up for the desired stretch, then weld tubes in to fill the gap. That with long forks and proper raked trees works good. Don't particularly like the look myself.
Overall I like the bike. As said above the price is not so nice and I'm unsure of the bars but I'd sure TAKE one if it was given to me. Also no sissy bar??
