Trampsinger,

Any pictures of your bike from other angles, especially from the front? Any specs on your bars?
Love the look of your bike!

Just an update. I got mine a week ago and finally got them put on this past weekend. They are obviously much better quality. Had the right side go on easy but the left was a challenge. Had a neighbor come over and help lift the rear up to get the bottom bolt through the swing arm.
Cant wait to get out and ride.
here in Iowa it was 57 degrees yesterday but too nasty on the roads for me atleast with all the sand. However it bottomed out and we got four inches of snow again over night.

Thanks man! Ok well here's the specs, They are 18"1 1/4" diameter apes.I'll attach a few more pics. The 21" wheel makes a difference as well. And to answer the earlier postabout the bolts for the laydown license plate holder, I rode over 250 miles yesterday two up with no issues! And she had a thick ***! Trimming is not necessary. To be honest, I think it handles amazing and rides as or morecomfortablewith the heavy duty 412's!
Thanks to all.

Mike

and Yet another. I've acutally done two more mod's since this pic. An Air Cleaner mod (Props to Battersby) cutting the football down to just the outer circumfrence of the AC,and a bare bones solo seat.

I just put 11 1/2" on a customers bike in Italy. He insisted on the 11 1/2" I put them on my guest bike & let him ride them as his bike was the same. First let me tell you that you need to lower the front. Second there is 2 different opinions, his and mine. He loved the ride height, I hated it. The bike scraped going around corners when the same corner the stock 12" did not. These Progressive's 412 are not even close to the quality of a Penskes. The problem lies, once you bought your shocks, if you do not like the ride height, you are stuck with them. Your choice. Can you try someones shocks that are 11 1/2"? Again everyone is different!

Mine are 11's and I never scrape solo. I have scraped two up on stock and the progressives if I acceleratereally hard on a right turn. Even then it's rare and barely scrapes.
