I went with Works shocks. The Black street trackers. They have a dual rate spring set and threaded collars. They will also make the shock to your specs. i got the 160-220 # range springs.
I really wanted progressive 418's, but had trouble finding the ones I wanted.
For the 80miles I rode on the 412's I had, I liked them, but the 11" were a little short for my liking.

got the 11' black 412's....ride solo and 2 up alot....works great,,,
