What is a fair out the door price on a street bob?, I'm getting prices in the high 15's, seems high, I would like to know if anyone is getting them out the door in the mid 14's where I think they should be.
2008 for $13200.00 period, no additional! A price in the 15's is WAY high!! Not that this bike is not worth that money, cause after riding it, I would likely pay that!
Last winter paid $13,400 OTD without any negotiations for an '07 Street Bob in denim black plus 20% off parts & labor if installed before delivery, 15% off motorclothing & parts for 30 days, free 1000 mile service, 50% off 5000 mile service, and the obligatory free t-shirt - better shop around and find a dealer that's overstocked, which looks like most medium to large sized dealers right now.
If you can find a left over '07 I'd go for it, even if you had to pay shipping from a non-local dealer - the integrated risers to the top triple tree on an '08 would be a deal breaker for me. Silly a$$ non-sensical '08 design change on moco's part if you ask me.
I spent $11,600 + tax/licensefor anew07 in November, picked it up south of Minneapolis Minnesota. They also threw in a $400 gift card to spend in there accessory/clothing shop. I would say 15k is plenty high, I would do some shopping around!!
I paid $15,900 for mine out the door and would gladly pay $20K if that's what they went for in my area. I have noticed in my travels that prices vary GREATLY by region.
I find the high 11s hard to believe,a regular super glide is something like 12,500 or so. I paid 13,400 for mine an 07 in late Aug. Used ones you can get for as much as a sportster.
