No matter where you keep them, if LEO asks for them, unzip your fly and when he asks what the hell you're doing tel him "Getting my papers". Most likely you'll be sent on your way.

I have always kept mine under the seat, until I bought my Harley and found out they don't have that compartment.
So I got me a Corbin seat that has a key lock to take it on and off, (good excuse huh, lol)
Never thought of the fuse box, that's a great idea!
