painting the tins
good day my brethern. i am preparing my tins for paint. truth be told i dropped the bike a few after i brought it home (please, no grief - i have beat the wife for it and want to forget about it).
anyhow, dent and scratch on tank. i want to pull the thank, fix dent, remove decal, paint black/grey flames to match my helmet (bought at HD so you've probably seen it). while i'm at it i might as well do the fenders since i want to cut them both.
would love some advice on the subject. i have painted my trucks but was never as particular about those. i do know the three secrets - prep, prep, prep. have equipment. any suggestions on actual paint manufacturer and tips on cutting the fenders would be great.
one of these days i'll figure out why the site won't let me upload pics and i'll post some.
