ORDERED BIG SUCKER TODAY!!!Can someone tell me where to get a rain sock for it? Love the open look and might try the Mud Mod. for an outer cover but do not want to cover completely. This means (I think) I'll need a rain sock for those rainy day rides but I can not find one that says it will fit the big sucker. Is it similar enough to the SE stage I that a SE sock would fit? I'm nervous that my sissy bar might poke the clouds and cause a downpour on me!!Thanks for any help.
Ordering PCIII from fuel moto as soon as I get home!!
street, I asked about this before I got mine and found that a lot of people have run them open in the rain with no issues. The filter is a well-oiled non-paper element that should not get messed up by rain. I still don't know that I'd ride all day in pouring rain with it open but then again, I'm not planning on doing that regardless. If I catch a showere while riding, it should not be a problem. If I have a ride planned and rain is eminent, I'll just remove the a/c insert I'm using and throw the old football back on and go. I don't think there is a "sock" on the market for it. Doesn't mean you couldn't fabricate something. But, if it's effective enough to block out the water, you're probably blocking off too much air at the same time.
