Chipstah should charge for that advice. He just saved you some coin. I agree with him.

Ditto on Chipsta's advice, he's spot on. If you're looking for tour paks and the like do a search for "Jackyl" and look at some of the after market stuff that he's put on his bike.

I speak from experience. The Dyna rides much smoother on the highway than the Softail does. Two up riding is likely best suited on a RK, but there is nothing keeping you from doing so on the Dyna. I loved my RK, just wanted a different style which the Dyna provides.

I agree with the Heritage looking like crap after a couple years (bags), and the Fat Boy is an awesome bike, but your bike provides what both of them offer - not to mention your bike rides smoother. That rigid mount motor of the softy is on buzzing MF'r on the highway!

I have a dual tourer saddle on my street bob. right now I am looking at maybe a RCK or a deluxe so I can go back to having the street bob as a solo. The saddle looks ok but is kind of bulky for the look.

Gotta get the post count up.

Good luck Tim - let the love affair with your Custom blossum!

For seats, I'd recommend you look into Mustang and Corbin for comfort, style, and quality. Others like Lepera for style, and C&C comes to mind also. A cheaper but still valid alternative is to have yours reworked - check with Allen at Mean City Cycles - a forum sponsor.
