Default who's got air shocks

stuck between air andprogressive shocks. Just wondering if anyone has regrets going with the air shocks. From what i see on the sight here it seems like most have went with the progressive. By the way i'm looking to go at least 1" down. Most of my riding is solo butshehops on every now and then for a short trip. Just dont want to rub, with both on were bout 320
tks for any advise

Ive had both. Progressive 412 11 inch definetly lowered my Low Rider. Bottomed out quite a bit more than I was comfortable with. After one of them leaked I put on 12 inch air shocks. Really don't have enough miles on them yet but the ride is smoother for sure. It sits about 3/4 inch higher unloaded but drops down when you sit on it. I am still playing with pressures I wish I had bookmarked the thread about installing them since the search doesn't work. One thing I did learn is the HD handheld air pump is definitely worth its price. Will take pics soon.

I've had both, I had a set of Electraglide air shocks that I liked allot but they looked ridiculous after I chopped my fender. It depends on what kind of ride your going for, the air shocks are plush but give you no kind of feedback from the road. The Progressives are the opposite they're firm but you have much more of a feeling of control. Also if you shop around you can get the air shocks for a little more than half what a set of Progressive 412s cost.
