Halfbuck, I know that you asked about the Memphis Shades, but I'll throw another option out -- National Cycle Wind Deflector. I have one on my FXDC and it works fine. It mounts to the handlebars and takes all of 5 minutes to mount and dismount. It's very adjustable and pretty inexpensive. I've had mine for about 9 years now (used it on my '99 1200C)and it's still in good shape. Here are two pictures.
