just got the fxd, but want to change to a very load exhaust and want to know whats best from yall. gonna add forward controlls and apes but what i need also to know is where to get a comfortable seat, only got the solo stock seat..sucks.. also my pics to big to load any ideas how to fix that. thks joe
Not sure what you mean by avery load exhaust. Slip on mufflers are the cheapest way to go and they come in all styles and loudness. I like my stock solo seat so really can't help you there, Ihave a 1 piece 2 up Sundowner that I use when riding 2 up. Go to the New Members Area. In the top part there is a section by DevilsReject, Basic How To; pictures, sigs, avatar. Very good information on how to resize and post a picture.
i think he ment loud.... not load... no big deal... in my opinion, the shorter they are the louder... you can run strait pipes and they will be loud as hell! either that or some short shots with no baffels... tuning will be a pain! there is other ones out there brother... you just need to resize the pic... just google picture resizing or image resizing... i use paint... to weird to explain how i do it...

All you need is
11:1 pistons
a good cam profile
bore and maybe stroke
won't matter the pipes then
you'll be activating car alarms half block before you get there.
seat??
the bigger it is,
the more comfortable it is.

You find youself in the Houston (La Porte) area let me know you are coming. I'll either ride with you or avoid the roads that day.
I just put on some Vance and Hines Big Radius and there nice and loud. I would also say the short shot staggereds from Vance would be loud and they are relatively inexpensive exhaust at 270 bucks i paid $509 for my Big radius.
If you like a longer exhaust that shoud nice and loud check out the vance and hines bigshots long and or the BUB jug huggers sharp loud pipe. alot of options out there on pipes its all in what you want looks wise and sound wise.
Here are couple places that have the best prices around:
Eastern Performance
Somerset Motorsports out of Kentucky got my Big radius from them for $509 everyone else wanted over $600 except Eastern they were $540
