I have an '08 WG with Rush slip-on mufflers and 2" baffles. Dyno was pretty good with 81.34 HP and 91.97 torque (stage 1 w/PC lll), but the AFR was 13.9-14.0 which is still a little lean.
I like the voulume and sound of the Rush mufflers, but am looking for something shorter with full heat shields and a streamlined look- without losing too much in performance or sound.
Right now it's a tossup between the Bub Jug Huggers and V&H Big Shots Staggered. There is reported to be a mid range power loss with the Jug Huggers. I haven't heard of any losses with the Big Shots.
Anyone know which system will perform most like the Rush, or another system I haven't considered?
I'm asking here instead of the exhaust forum because I would probably get alot of suggestions that are not available for the Dyna's.
Are the Python Staggereds the same as the V&H big shot staggereds? I was thinking I read somewhere that V&H manufactures python exhaust (similiar to what Bub does for rinehart). The 2 setups look similiar and both have the 2-1-2 crossover type system.
rush mufflers are better than the rest, you will see this down the line. if you want to shorten them with out power loss, than go with the se shortys. they make them for wg i have 07 wg and would not change out my rush mufflers. your choice good luck.
