i didn't want to change out my shocks cause the stock ones on my fxdx are really well made, so i put the 2" lowering blocks on a couple weeks ago. 500 miles later i've had no problems.
I for one would like to see this can you post a pic?

Those are actually mine. I ran them untill I got my progressive 11" shocks. I had know problems with them and they did what I wanted for the time being. I have no pics with them installed so thats why I didn't post any in the ad.

Or leg lengtheners. I have some disco shoes left over from the 70's.

I had them on 3 sportsters and they worked great. I even put them on a "HUGGER". Once in a while the shocks would bottom out but it never hurt the bike or me.

using the tamarak blocks for 1000 mile now no problems.
