HD sells a wedge that sits on the jack so you bike will lift evenly

I use mine on my Dyna all the time, no it will not pick it up perfectly level but I've managed to hold it secure enough to do quite a bit of work on my suspension.Since I switched to the 11" Progressives sometimes i have to straighten the bike up with one hand and hold the lift with the other but it works.

I cut some 2x4 lumber to use on the lift, so the the is balanced. I have a street bob.

What exactly doesn't work about it? I have the red jack and it lifts my dyna fine. It's actually harder to get on the lift with the block kit but not impossible. I can and do use the kit and can get the bike on the lift myself.

I just cut some 2x4's to make it work. It worked fine, my bike sat on it for a week with no front-end on it.

Your jack is the wrong color!
Just kidding, there was a thread way back that was knocking "red" jacks.

I had some scrap 1 x 3's in my shop, 3 of them worked great, left one corner without.
My bike has been up on the jack since Christmas, straped down, rolled around the garage, in and out of it's storage area.
