Man it is threads like this that make me wonder about having my forwards put on (still in the box).
I hear you all about the safety and agreed until I was hit from the side and was stretched out on the highway pegs.
Last year I found myself riding more and more with one leg or the other on a highway peg and started to think that it would be safer at this point to go with forwards. So I have them but not on yet - putting them on a 06 is a rather big deal so I want to be sure since switching back will be as bad as putting them on.
#1reason is with my windsheild on the wind blows upwards badly.empties my shirt pockets blows bugs up your nose didnt do that with mids.#2 they arent very comforatble on long trips.
This is good info.I have mids on my 07' SG. I'm 6' 1" tall and have found forwards to be very comfortable. However, the mids make me feel more in control. Maybe I'll just add highway pegs for when I need to stretch out.
