Has anyone used the Harley jack adaptors for the Sears Red Jack? I have the 4 blocks but haven't had the ambition to try and jack it up by myself. I'd have a terrible time if something I did went wrong.
I've heard there are better jacks for the Dyna but I had a softail and the Seras jack worked perfectly.
Here is a picture of my bike using the Dyna blocks. Best done with two people. One to hold the bike upright while the other lines the blocks up and starts jacking it up. I do it alone all the time but don't like it. Just make sure that the bike is strapped down, every time.
There have been posts that show that the blocks have separated. Be careful. I have a set as well and use them on occasion. I have also modified my red jack. I mostly use my scissor jacks with and without the blocks.
your video says 4 bolts for 10bucks but then your thread says you need drill bits, nuts, washers etc you got pics of what exactly needs to be done?
If you peruse the thread linked in my signature, watch the video and explore all the photos that members graciously added, you should be able to figure it out.
This is one of the easiest and definitely the most useful mod that one can do. Hell, I use this mod just because it`s so cool watching how it works. Even if I`m not working on it!
