I'm in Australia and am looking to put forward controls on my 06 Street Bob.

Unfortunately, I've just got off the phone to the stealer who wants (wait for it) $590.00 for them.

Needless to say I fell off my chair.

According the the HD website the forward controls RRP is $325 US. At today's exchange rate they should cost me $344 Australian.

Does anyone know of any way I can buy genuine forward controls from the US at a realistic price?

Now if I can just find someone to help me back on my chair...

Does the price include installation?

If so, then it isn't too far off. Still a little high though.

 

No - the price doesn't include installation

Full price if I buy (which I won't) the genuine parts from the stealer will be a tad over $1,000 bucks

Have been looking through ebay - but would like to keep the bike genuine where possible - have noticed some nice stuff from Kuryakyn

the mo co is missing a great opportunity if it continues to allow stealers to mark up parts like this
