I have the Taylor 8mm yellow wires and did for the look. Back in 1967 there was a guy in the neighborhood with a Triumph Tiger 650 chopper and yes he had yellow wires......
Well, for me it was ALWAYS red translucent wires w/rajah terminals on real hot rods in their day, but maybe I go back a little further than some of you guys!
Sorry, a little discolored in the pic, but ya get the idea:
Looking for some yellow spark plug wires for my 07 street bob. I don't know much about them, is there a huge difference between brands? Should I get the 8mm ones, or go bigger? Do they make any difference in performance?I checked on screaming eagle wires, but I couldn't find yellow ones. Any help would be great!!!!!!!
i have been running the ultima orange on mine and they have extra sleeving around them almost impossible to melt ,and they run great in my bike. they have all colors yellow too. here is there web. http://www.ultimaproducts.com/plugs.htm
From the Ultima site blurb on their sparkplug wires:
"...Resulting in 2-6 hp increase over factory OEM wires."

Reminds me of when I was a kid reading the J.C. Whitney catalog... their chrome-plated dipstick was supposed to increase gas milage and add horsepower.
