ask you can see i had to do mine after a car wash ate though the clear coat on every piece of polished alum on my bike...


blue magic will bring it back for the ones who dont want powdercoat

If I remember correctly, it was around $300 from HD for the uppers and lowers.

I picked up a set off Ebay for around $50 that had a couple of scratches in the black wrinkle. I shot a layer of new powdercoat one them (after preping them of course).

i took my whole upper assembly appart when i did mine... not just the top box... i also did the push rod tubes and brackets... looks sick...
You had a black and chrome motor to start with-I think I am going to get the chrome kit-it is about $600.

By the way-do you hit the gym much?

the reason i was told is ithat t keeps heat in, to what amount i wasn't told, but i can see how a powder coating could be an insulator.

your stock boxes are done with a clear coat... but no it does not affect anything
