agreed... powder coat... exp when you have people like Metal mike, myself, powdercoater, and more, all on here that do powder coating.... i did mine, and love them... how difficult is it... depends on if you do the upper and lower, if you do the upper and thats it, it is a 15 min job if you do the lower it is a bit more involved... i have pics of the whole process when i did mine.... ask you can see i had to do mine after a car wash ate though the clear coat on every piece of polished alum on my bike...
Use the post below and you'll be able to get your part #'s. I did the complete mod myself. If you do it, just make sure you have the service manual and you'll be fine.
just a regular pressure washer place... they run just a slight amount of anti freeze thought the lines durring the winter and into the spring... i went out riding then wanted to blast off some road grime before putting it away... just hit it with rinse... lite water spray... and it just destroyed ny metal on the bike.... mad does not fit the emotion

That happened to me. I thought it was road salt taking it's toll. I have been buffing it out but that has ruined the clearcoat. If you just took off the easy to get top parts and powder coated them, then how did you get the rest of you motor balcked out? The next bike I get will be blacked out but I ain't giving this one up for a while. My freind just ran his Titan through a car wash today when we were riding, too bad I didn't read this yesterday.
