Not a good move. I have the front fender on and yet my fork bag is full of mud after today's ride. Of course, I was caught in a couple rooster tails from a friends bike. So that could explain some of it. I got a lot of cleaning to do.

I took mine off a few months after I got it. That lasted till the first time I ran through a nice long puddle and got blasted in the face with muddy water. After I could see again, I went home and put the fender back on.

I drove around town to check out the dry areas.
Then went home, uncovered the bike and off I went.
Now I remember why I bought a SB, what a nice bike.
Seems like these Illinois winter’s are getting longer every year.
Made back home, mudless.

Gonna start working on modifying the oe fender to go with the rest of the bike.. sorry no after pics already wiped her down.

I got home from work today, it was still in the high 40s and the hill up to the driveway was dry enough to get the bike up the hill. Went to the bank, and around the block (about 50 miles)................. Oh crap, forgot to get gas, and the low fuel light comes on when I am almost home. What a bummer, now I have to ride the bike again tomorrow (sposed to be in the 60s) to get gas
