can anyone tell me what it would take to mount a fatboy front end onto a fxdl? Anything major? I know the fork lock won't work. I think both bikes have frames with 32 degree rakes and 0 rake trees.
i saw a fxdl on ebay with a stock fatboy front end and it was sweet.
Some of the sweetest looking HD's are still the old 4 speed FL's. The Dyna conversions are right in there when converted. So much FL twin shock history wasted.
Dammit. That's exactly what i've been looking for and the frickin link is broken.....Did anyone happen to save this or know where it would or can be found?
I remember taking a look at that site a few months ago. I seem to remember he had to modify the frame a bit due to the fork stops being to narrow for the FL front end. If I remember right he just grond down the stops and painted black. Just want to make sure you know your before/after stop to stop arc.
