Was at a dealer the other day, looked at a led tail light for the bob. Dealer advised me not to use this taillight, because the led's would screw with the efi. Any one else heard any thing on this? He said he has had four of five on 06's that had trouble.
I can not under stand why.
Thanks
Rick
It doesn't actually screw up the EFI but it can cause your bike to through a code. You have to buy a load equalizer thingy (sorry for the technical terms) or resistor or something. Kuryakyn sells them. They will know what your are talking about. Without the previous mentioned (in technical terms) item your turn signals may flash too fast also. I have the complete Kuryakyn Panacea Deluxe Taillight and turn signals on my bike. I have no problem at all.
Terry, thats what I thought, but they said that still did not work for them. Some thing on 06 and efi. I would think a load eq should do the job. Think I will call Kuryakyn, and ask them.
Thanks
Rick

I called them before I bought my set and they were great to deal with. You can save a bundle if you order it through M and M Cycle. They sell for 20% off and had Kuryakyn on sale for 25% off a few weeks ago.
