I really think that is why! granted... i wear a monkey suit to work every day... but i truely feel that is why we seem to get along so well, we all not only love the bike but we all love turning the wrench on it, i love the mix of ages, experiance, and locations that we have on here...
in fact!
this summer i am going to plan a week ride and try and hit up some neighboring states... then i can hit up forum members for a free place to sleep! ha ha ha now that is capitalizing!
if your in my neck of the woods feel free to stop, always 3 hots and a cot and a cold beer here. jackyl
Anyway I asked all the same questions that I now see beign repeated and so I know that those that have been here longhave heard it 100times. But I have always got answers with only a few wise guys. I try to answer what I can but it mostly just to the questions that I have asked already.
just save your answer and then click and paste it , when you are asked again
I gotta agree. This is THE BEST forum on the entire site. The folks on here remindme of the guys I ride with. We always help each other out with advice, info or whatever. You may take a littleharassment here and there, but it's all in fun. And I can personally attest to people answering the same stuff over and over. Just ask kpreese how many have messaged him about the springer conversion! (I've gotten those same questions! Ha ha!) And the beginner questions that pop up over and over. Until people have been on here a while, they may not know how to search the site. Rather than belittle them, we answer their question AND give links to the old threads. Who could ask for anything more?
So I add my thanks to everyone! I'd ride with ya'll anytime!
Honestly, I agree with Jackyl. We are hard working guys that like to ride for the sake of riding. I find a lot of forums on here are a little pompous. You ask a question or some advice and they act like they know more, or you're not worth it. Everyone on here respects each other and likes to help out.
As for hitting up some neighboring states, know that the Florida Panhandle is open to ya.
I just checked out the Softail forum a few days ago. Couldn't believe how boring. Mods are rare talk. Plenty of smart *** comments to new members asking questions. Don't like to stereotype an entire group, but, for the most part---a bunch of tools! This post has really made me feel sentimental about you Dyna guys and I'd like to say a big "Thanks" to all of you. I have learned alot here and gotten many good laughs also. I hope I have helped someone at some point also.
