When I got the Bob I was looking at Night Trains but couldn't handle the payment. Now that I've got the Bob I'm glad I couldn't afford the Train, I effin love my bike. However as soon as it's paid off I'll be getting another but my 2nd bike will be more ofa family bike, street glide or Road King.
Hopefully my boy will ride my Bob someday.
My FXDXT took six months to find and was 1000 miles away, but it was worth it to me. I was ready to settle for an FXDX. For a 2nd bike I'd end up with a DeLux...couldn't be happier with what I've got now.
What? Nobody likes the Softail Deluxe?????? I actually almost bought an 07' deluxe before I got my Bob, but it was a bit to pricey for me. But now that X-bones has got me drooling lately!!
Hey count me as someone who would consider a Softail Deluxe! Beautiful bikes!
I almost bought a Nightster, but as persons above I thought I was a little too large. One of my best friends is determined to get one in the next weeks, so that will be exciting. Then the Fat Bob captured my heart. Since I've been on this forum though Softails intrigue me,, and I'd like to ride one, so different from the bikes I've had over the years with vertical shocks. The Deluxe and the (now not available except in the topline CVO) Springers really look beautiful to me.
I like the x bones or a night rod special. I sat on all and the fat bob fit me the best and dont regret buying it at all. The bike handles really well and just looks mean. I kinda want a street bob cause I like that look too. Maybe someday I will have one of each.
