Good evening all. Just thought I'd stop in and introduce myself. I've been lurking around for a couple of weeks now and I'd like to complement everyone in this group. Looks like good people, good advice, no bashing and no attitudes. You got a good thing going here. So anyways.....my wife sold her V-Star and I sold my Warrior. She bought the Low Sporty and I bought the Street Bob. We'll take delivery in two weeks providing all the mods come in and get installed in time. I really hope I like the switch over. I've had many different makes of bikes in my 25 years of riding but this will be my first Harley. Let's hope the Spring come sooner than Phil predicted. I want to break this thing in!!
Cool man...welcome to the club. I had a Vstar 1100 before I bought my 06 FXDWGI. Dude, you won't ever look back. I liked the Yamaha...I love my harley. There's just no comparison. Enjoy!
congrtats on you your new bob! I got mine in august and put 1500 miles on it by sept. not much after that gets cold here in jersey. put a bunch of accessories on it though. you'll be surprised how well in handles love the bike good luck and ride safe
I hope to ride it home. Maybe we'll get lucky. I got the forward controll and 1 stage with race turnner. I have a set of slip on Reinhardts on the way too.
Welcome from the 82nd Airborne Division. Gratz on your new scooter! I bought my vivid black Street Bob last weekend and I cant stay off it. Ive put 300 miles on it so far. Ive added Skull series derby cover, timer, air cleaner, mirrors, foot pegs and shifter peg so far. Next is a 2-up or a pillion and some pipes. My last bike was a BMW K75 way back in 1991. I now "understand" why HD owers love them soo much.
