Pardon me for asking, but I do not see a charging system idiot light on my 2008 Lowrider. When I turn the ignition on I see an oil light, engine light, but no battery (charging system) light coming on. I see there is a space for it, but it does not light up. The manual does not specify one way, or another. Do these bikes not have a warning light if your charging system quits?

I believe I read some where that if your charging system falls below a predermined voltage that light is supposed to come on.

 

Thanks for your response, but isn't the light supposed to come on when the ignition is on, but the engine not running?

Not as long as you are above the min. voltage
