Fella's,
ok here we go again. i am making good progress on my 16" apes, thanks for the help so far. my stealer screwed up my service manual order, so i gotta wait a little longer for that.......i got the new throt/idle cables on, and i dont know what to do with the cables, as they go under the tank. the old "zip tie" looking things are still there, but i cant seem to be able to re-use them. is there an easy way to secure the cables from hitting the rocker covers??? thanks again for everyones help, and as soon as i am done these bars, ill have some pics to post.

Cut the zip tie that attaches to the frame close to the head of it so that you can pull/push out the rest of it leaving only the head, hope that makes sense. Cut it where it attaches to the head, maybe that's a better mental pic. Then you can find a tie that will slide through the old head. Works in a pinch, or just order some more.

yeah, no ****....that makes sense LOL. thanks for that!! that should help out a whole bunch. like i said, keep your eyes peeled for pics LOL, theyll be coming as soon as i am done with these bars. it seems like the "big" stuff is real easy, its the small stuff like damn zip ties that are a pain in the *** LOL. thanks again
