Love your bike! Paint looks awesome and oneova kind. You've spent some jack on that badboy.
The only part that's not doin it for me is that big backrest! Carefull going through low tunnels!
Gotta get me some stem nut covers though.

I know that backrest takes away from the looks of the bike, but in that case I chose function over form. It supports a large T-Bag I use for multiple day trips and the ol' lady likes the full back support - has even dozed off on the back.
I may pick up a shorter one for when she's not on the bike, especially since she is about to get licensed and get her own bike.

Gotta echo the sentiments expressed almost to a man (rider) ... looks great!
I think the tall backrest looks okay. Kind of looks like the Softail Custom ... would be kind of cool with a transitional pad between the seat and backrest to get that king and queen look! Short, medium or tall, that bike is gonna look cool!
I hear ya on the practicality aspect. I commute and have to have the storage space myself ....
