man i think with the style you have going on with your bike and the FL sun... i would not go black... if you do go with a HIGH gloss black and have it cleared as well... i do it alot (see all the black on my bike) but IMO i would leave the chrome... i think it looks great!
yeah ya know what i gotta agree, ive always like those pipes on bikes and if i had em id prlly have a hard time blackn them out. if the rest of your bike was murdered out then id say go for it. but what you got goin on has class and id keep it that way. maybe go with a open filter and some old school lookn chrome mirrors and other lil stuff. i change my vote to no on the black ....
Ahh, this is tough. I don't know what to do. While I do love the look of chrome, I also LOVE a blacked out bike. I always drool over them when I see it, but I'm just very hesitant to go and do it to my bike. 9 people say black it out, and 6 say keep it chrome. Hmmmmmmmmmm.....
Black would also be a hell of a lot easier to clean! And along with that Florida shine also comes that Florida rain, which leaves a **** load of wetspots. Hmmmmmmmmm.....
I almost bought another set of heat shields from V&H just so I could ceramic coat them black & would have the option of switching back & forth. Holllly Chittt!!!!!!!! When I got the email response from them, the price was almost $400 for all 4 pieces of heat shields. Let's just say mine are staying chrome.
