No offense, but why don't you just ride with the stock pipes until the new ones come in? How in the hell can you buy a bike and let it set at a dealer?? I would have gouged my eyes out with pencils by now.
You can't ever believe parts guys, their job is to get your money, if they have to lie about lead time, well...... Take the bike to the shop when ALL the parts show up. Just my worthless opinion.

dude, short shots are not backordered. your dealer has hosed you. they didn;t order the damn things! i bet if you raised holy hell, they be able to have them installed in a couple days.
