Molded windsheild
I was thinking about adding a detachable windshield to my 2000 FXDL. I remember seeing one that had a shape to it. Almost like a fairing. Can't find it now.
Any advice would be great, thanks.

You get quick on-and-off convenience, and a clean, custom look. No tools are required, and the kit includes everything needed to install thewindshield. The tough, hard-coated polycarbonate windshield features traditional chrome horizontal and vertical braces.

I also saw one a while back, it had a curveat the top of it, to deflect the wind up and over.
I have been searching for that one with no luck too.

Memphis Shades has windshield that look more formed, and sort of resemble a fairing.
I got a Rifle SoloShield from a fellow HDF member, and to be honest, it is just as good as the WindVest. I read a bunch of reviews on it, and people seemed to love it. It definately helps, mounts easilt to the 1" handlebars, and removes with just 4 screws. It's adjustable up and down, and the angle can also be adjusted. I was pleasantly suprised with it.
