Default Flush Mount Gauge ?

Hey All -

Has anyone ever disassembled one before? The right side went off without a hitch. The LED gauge was another story. I got the actual gauge out, and loosened the screws in the mounting assembly. And thats as far as I got. Anyone have any tips or tricks? Thanks in advance!

I just installed mine.

After you loosen the screws you need to turn the whole assembly so the screws are in the narrow slots. That should unlock the assembly so it can be lifted out.

It will make sense once you have it out and see how it works.

My instructions may have been a little confusing, let me try to clarify.

Loosen the screws to where you can get a finger along the side of them.

Place your fingers next to two of the screws and push them over into the slots away from the indents where they were tightened (like turning a spanner). The locking mechanism they are screwed into will move with them and allow the whole assembly to be lifted out.

Hope this helps.

why are you taking it out,,,?

i had to pull mine back off cause i can't read destructions,'

pull the 3 screws out,,,pull the center out then the bottom will come out,,,,reassemble before you put it back in,,,,i did unplug it from the bottom of the sender ,,,easy enough.
