You could always go with one of those suction cup pillion seats and tell the girl to hold on for dear life!

I put on the leather HD Rally runner as a comprimise between looks and comfort and I think it was a good decision. The passenger portion is wide enough for her and the rider portion sits low enough to get some lower back support. It is a bit firm being new and all but I think the quality seats start out stiff and break in over time as apposed to the squishy stock seat. Check it out.

I agree. I put the rallyrunner on my FXDI and absolutely love it. If you look at ebay, you can get one for about $150.00.

This might be a dumb question. When you guys install the second seat will it scratch up the fender? My Super Glide has a solo seat. I would like the second set option, but it seems when you take off the second seat the fender will be screwed up.

jbe: I can attest that the harley seats have a nice carpeted lining on the underside of them for scratch protection, my rallyrunner came with a piece of adhesive film that applies directly to the fender under the rider after removing two rubber pads that were under the solo seat for more protection. I don't know if there will be any marks left from it since I haven't removed mine since I put it on. If you plan to swap them back and forth you'll probably need to but another seat nut and retaining ring (like a snap ring) for the solo since moving that nut back and forth would be a big hassle getting at it from under the fender. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the tip. I like my solo seat, but may need a second at times. I would hate to remove the second seat and have scratches in the fender.

Nice choice man..I tried out the rallyrunner before buying my "pillow" seat. I really liked it, but you're right..it was a little stiffer. Let us know if it does soften up a bit.

When you add the passenger pillion to the factory solo seat you buy these rubber pads with adhesive on one side that stick to the fender so that it's stable and doesn't destroy the paint.
