Mine was on it when I bought the bike . Always rode with it and it works great!

That's exactly the problem I have with mine. The windshield is almost an inch ahead of my stock 07 FXDC headlight. I thought at first it was assembled wrong at the dealers, but it's not. I tried tothink of different ways I could mount the clamps. Now after really looking at mine, I not sure a trim ring will really work. I'm going to try one any way. I've got nothing to lose but $30. We'll see what happens!!!

I never would have imagined a windshield on my Street Bob a year ago until I got nailed by the worlds biggest june bug. Now i am loving the detachable windshield. I don't use it in town but long trips its a must. Yeah it looks kind of funny, but who cares when your on the road. The quick release function is handy too, easy to use and no docking hardware.
