i dont care 1971 or 2006 you cant do better than any of superglide or any of low riders or wideglide models they are the hot rod of harley. i know the guys who owns the sporty's or full dresser's they are in a class of there own but if you want something that is'nt to big or to small then you want the hot rod.you can dress them up or down and everything inbetween.

I agree . Feels right at home weather it's on the highway, back roads ,or just cruising through town.
I like the fact that the FX bikes are direct decendents of the original duo glide and electra glide FL's and even today stick to the classic 4 speed style frame that FL's and FX's all shared for many years until the introduction of the sloptail. Talk about tradition.
I totally agree. The Dynas are great bikes, and I love the hell out of my 06 Wide Glide. I love the older ones as well, but wanted to get a new one for my own. I plan on keeping it for a very long time. I feel I made a good choice. The Wide Glide fits me well, is very comfortable, handles great, runs great, and looks AWESOME. I have found that although the new EFI system is a little more tricky to dial in, it is still very upgradeable, works well, and with proper maintenance should last me for the long haul. I fear that the time is comming for big changes, so I am glad I bought new in 06. I wouldnt want a radiator on the front of my bike........
I held on to my Sportster. It is not as well rounded as my Dyna, but it sure is fun to tear up the corners on and to sprint from light to light. The Dyna is my number one ride though.
