TNBRIT, that is a sweet setup.&nbsp\\; That's what I'm trying to do, except with drag bars.&nbsp\\; Thanks for the pic and info.&nbsp\\; Now I know it's possible.

Speedo fits,no problem,if you buy off Ebay,make sure&nbsp\\;the setup is with the idiot lights(they're $54 from dealer),then all&nbsp\\;you need to do is join the wires by the&nbsp\\;colours to the Dyna harness(I soldered &amp\\; heat shrinked them)the Sportster riser i used was 04 &amp\\; later.

I have an 08 FXDC and I out on the HD pullback risers and it was the best thing I ever did.&nbsp\\; I am 5'10" also and have the mids still.&nbsp\\; I did not have to change the cables at all they were all long enough.&nbsp\\; I debated getting new bars also but figured I would try the risers first and I love them.&nbsp\\; They look pretty good too, I was waorried about that but they look good.

i am not sure if the application would be the same, but I changed my stock handlebars on an 07 fxdc to the street slammers without having to change out any of the cables.&nbsp\\;

Tnbrit that is a sweet setup. Great look that I'd like to put on mine. I went the easy route and put on Sportster bars and painted the speedo.

Actually, I didn't order the handlebars myself.&nbsp\\; My bike is already in the shop getting some work done and it took a month of sitting on bikes with different handlebar set ups before I finally said to order them.&nbsp\\; They are just going to throw them on initially to make sure I like them before they actually install them.&nbsp\\; I'm sure the risers would have worked well but I didn't want to mess with the position of the speedo.&nbsp\\;
