anybody ever hear of Caryville Customs in California? ....I'm having them custom make a 66 tooth, 1 inch pulley for my 07 Bob
...was looking for one to match the chrome 5 hole drilled floating rotors harley offers, but there isn't a single manufacturer that makes one with the 07 dimensions....i got a hold of these guys, and in addition to selling blanks at a reasonable price, they can also custom cut one
just checking if anyone has any knowledge of these folks...they seem like they'd be quite reputable considering their products and services
you sure its a 66 tooth 1 inch on the 07's, you might want to double check. i have a 06 boband its a 70 tooth 1-1/8. just dont want youto make a mistake and waste money.this isthe pulley i put on my bob, with a duece rear rim, i think its the same rotor you are talking about also. jackyl
indeed, 06 and 07 pulleys are different.... different width and different number of teeth....don't know why harley did it, but they did....i read where it has something to do with the design of the primary
It's because the 96" is a weaker motor than the 88"
Well, that would explain why it can't handle a 70 tooth pulley and it only needs a 1" wide belt... flame away!
not really... if you look at making power you can make a 88 produce much more power hands down than the 96... just due to the amount of parts and aftermarket gear that is avail. someday that will not be true but as of now it is... by the way how are those over heating issues going
no, it's cool....LOL!!.....heck, if i had the money to buy a 2006 IN 2006, i sure as heck would have...... but when i bought my 07, they were still asking nearly just as much for the 06s
they do run fricking hot, though! ....i'm hoping to square that away with a TMax after some engine mods, though
